Climate

Languages

Camping
Wild camping is forbidden, but there are well-organized campsites in tourist and natural areas, including by Lake Bled and on the coast.

Slovenia is popular with motorcyclists because of its alpine landscapes. Popular routes include the Julian Alps and the road to the Vršič pass.

The historic center of Ljubljana is closed to car traffic and is pedestrian-only. Other cities also have traffic restrictions in central areas.
