Climate

Andorra has a mountainous climate, with cold, snowy winters, ideal for skiing, and cool, dry summers, perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. Languages

Catalan is the official and most widely spoken language in Andorra. However, Spanish, French and Portuguese are also widely understood and spoken, given the proximity to Spain and France and the presence of immigrant communities.

Driving

Driving in Andorra is done on the right-hand side of the road. The country has a good road infrastructure, although there are no highways. There are no tolls in Andorra, which makes it easier to travel around its territories.

Camping

Wild camping is not allowed in Andorra, mainly due to the environmental protection of the mountainous areas. There are, however, some regulated campsites where visitors can stay overnight in safety and comfort.

Andorra offers some spectacular routes for bikers, especially those who enjoy riding on mountainous roads. The CG-2 road, which connects Andorra la Vella to France via the Envalira tunnel, is popular for its challenging curves and panoramic views. Due to its small size and mountainous nature, Andorra has areas where access may be limited, especially in high mountain areas or during the winter, when some roads may be closed due to snow.
