Poland is a diverse destination for motorcyclists, with roads that cross forests, plains and mountains, connecting historic cities such as Krakow, Gdańsk and Warsaw.

Freeway: 140 km/h

Poland is located in the center of Europe and has a rich history, marked by its resistance and culture. Warsaw, the capital, combines modernity with a historic center rebuilt after the Second World War. Krakow, the former capital, is one of the most popular tourist destinations, with a valuable historical and cultural heritage.

Climate

The climate is continental, with cold winters and hot summers. Snow is common in winter, especially in the south, near the Carpathian and Tatra mountains.

Languages

The official language is Polish. There are minorities who speak German, Lithuanian, Ukrainian and Kashmiri, but Polish is predominant throughout the country.

Driving

Drive on the right. Some highways and expressways are paid for by tolls in plazas or electronic systems (e-TOLL). Speed limits are strictly enforced.

Camping

Wild camping is technically forbidden, but in rural areas it can be tolerated with local permission. Poland has many organized campsites and nature areas suitable for motorhomes.

Biker Zones

Poland offers much-loved routes in the south of the country, especially in the Tatra and Bieszczady mountains. The lake region of Mazuria is also popular with motorcyclists.

Special Zones

Some cities, such as Warsaw and Krakow, have traffic restrictions in historic centers. Parking in central areas usually requires payment at parking meters or mobile apps.
