Driving
Drive on the right. The highways are free for cars and well maintained. There are no tolls for passenger cars, except in the Liefkenshoek tunnel in Antwerp.
Camping
Wild camping is forbidden in Belgium, but there are many equipped campsites and areas for motorhomes.
Biker Zones
Belgium offers interesting routes for motorcyclists, especially in the Ardennes region, with winding roads and beautiful scenery. The North Sea coast is also popular for rides.
Special Zones
Brussels and Antwerp have low emission zones (LEZ), where only vehicles that meet certain environmental criteria can drive. In historic city centers such as Bruges and Ghent, car access is restricted.
