Ukraine is the largest country located entirely in Europe, known for its vast fertile plains, historic cities such as Kyiv and Lviv, and the Black Sea coast. Its culture reflects both Slavic and European influences.
Under current conditions, we do not recommend traveling to Ukraine.
Climate
Temperate continental climate, with hot summers and cold winters. On the Black Sea coast, the climate is milder.
Languages
Ukrainian is the official language. Russian is still spoken in some regions, and there are minorities who speak Hungarian, Romanian and Polish. English is mainly used in urban and tourist areas.
Driving
Drive on the right. The highways and main roads are expanding, some with tolls. Speed limits are strictly enforced.
Camping
Wild camping is allowed in rural areas, but it is more common to use organized campsites, especially near rivers, lakes and coastal areas.
Biker Zones
The Carpathian roads on the western border and the Black Sea coastal routes are popular with motorcyclists.
Special Zones
In Kyiv, Lviv and other big cities, there are pedestrian zones, limited traffic and paid parking.
