Climate
Extremely varied: desert in the north, Mediterranean in the central zone, ocean in the south and polar in Chilean Antarctica.

Spanish is the official language. In some regions, indigenous languages such as Mapudungun and Aymara are still spoken.

Drive on the right. There are highways with tolls, usually paid manually in booths or electronically (TAG in Santiago).
Camping
Wild camping is tolerated in rural and natural areas, but is prohibited in national parks without authorization. There are many regulated campsites.
